Authors are invited to submit original research, not being considered for publication elsewhere. Short papers (max 1500 words) can be submitted to present visionary ideas, work in progress and preliminary research results, whereas full papers (max 5000 words, and not more than 10 pages) should present substantial results. All papers will be reviewed by at least two members of the program committee and all accepted papers will be presented at the conference.
Papers must be written and presented in English and follow the IOS press formatting guidelines http://www.iospress.nl/authco/instruction_crc.html.
To submit your paper, please register at www.easychair.org and visit this link: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=giz2012
At least one author of every accepted paper has to register for the forum. Full papers will be published in the IfGI Prints series (with ISBN) by the Akademische Verlagsgesellschaft AKA GmbH, Heidelberg. We will ask the authors of the best full papers to submit extended versions for a special issue in a geographic information science journal.
